Work Permit Solution – Estonian Tax and Customs Board

Estonia approved a law, stating that all construction sites must use controlled access and registration systems to battle against envelope paid labor for tax evasion. For this a unified Personal Work permit was needed for workers in the construction sector – every worker, be it concrete, cleaning, construction, access control must have a Tax Agency issued work permit issued which is used in construction access control and registration systems.

Hansab came up with a clever use case for Electronic Shelf Labels in which no complex data nor electric cabling was needed. Tallinn Healthcare College is using SES Imagotag Electronic Shelf Labels to display the college timetable on more than 50 rooms.
